My chest and arms are super sore today. I think I'm going to do that pyramid thing a couple times each week until I can get all the way up to 50 pushups and then work on getting faster times. I still managed to do 150 pushups with 60 at breakfast, 40 at lunch, and 25 on either side of dinner. I'm pretty sure I could have done more with those other sets but I was in pain and decided not to push it.

I also ran 4 miles on the treadmill in 30 minutes and felt pretty good. This half marathon is going to be a lot of fun. I'm pretty happy with myself today because I flew 3.1 hours in the morning and was feeling really drained. We usually fly 1.2 hours but we had to make up time so they flew the hell out of me. Flying is still so physically and mentally draining for me and I'm really proud of myself for making it to the gym. I was eating healthily all day and then my roommate dragged me to $0.25 wing night and my day was shot to hell. Maybe tomorrow I'll go a full day without any horribly unhealthy food.

Took a day of cardio and thought I'd see how miserable doing your pyramid would be. I decided up front to do 30sec of bike between sets and bumped it up 30sec after every 3 sets. I did this with less rest than the usual beginning of my work out though.

5/10, 6/20, 7/25, 8/20, 9/20, 10/20, 8/20, 8/20, 7/10, 7/25 - Total 75/200

I did a little more lifting after words and I feeling exhausted tonight. I did 40 more pushups and was going to stop at 240 pushups until I started to comment and wanted to make it an even 2k. So I had to do 35 more.

Pushups - 275 / 2000 YTD
Pull ups - 75 / 275 YTD

Running - 5.1 / 15.46 YTD
Treadmill - 0 / 2 YTD
Elliptical - 0 / 11.5 YTD

I'm assuming you mean more lifting afterwards* and not after words with friends.

Obviously they don't stack up to the steroid wings at K&K but they're decent.

You're a pull-up fiend, I"m jealous. My upper pecs are still buku sore but I wanted to do another pyramid tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have to fly until noon then head to the airport enroute to a classified location. Maybe I can hit a gym on Saturday, I don't know, I don't know if I'll have enough time.
